What file format are the sermons saved
in?
A: The sermons are saved in .mp3 format.
Q:
Can I save the sermons on my computer to listen to
later?
A: Yes. The process is very simple, but will be slightly
different depending on what internet browser you use
(Internet Explorer, Firefox, or Safari) as well as your
operating system (Macintosh or PC).
*For Macintosh:
**Internet
Explorer
(1) Hold down
the “control” button on the keyboard while you click on the
“DOWNLOAD SERMON” link
(2) A menu will appear. Click on the “Download link to
disk” option
(3) Select a place on your computer to save the .mp3 file.
**Firefox
(1) Hold down the “control” button on the keyboard while
you click on the “DOWNLOAD SERMON” link
(2) A menu will appear. Click on the “Save Link As…”
option.
(3) Select a place on your computer to save the .mp3 file.
**Safari
(1) Hold down the “control” button on the keyboard while
you click on the “DOWNLOAD SERMON” link
(2) A menu will appear. Click on the “Download Linked File”
option
(3) The file will download to the default folder that has
been specified for Safari downloads.
*For PC
**Internet
Explorer
(1) Right-click
on the “DOWNLOAD SERMON” link.
(2) A menu will appear. Click on the “Save Target As…”
option.
(3) Select a place on your computer to save the .mp3 file.
**Firefox
(1) Right-click
on the “DOWNLOAD SERMON” link.
(2) A menu will appear. Click on the “Save Link As…”
option.
(3) Select a place on your computer to save the .mp3 file.
Q:
How can I listen to the sermons?
A: If you click on the “DOWNLOAD SERMON” link, most
internet browsers will open a new window to play the
sermon. If you choose to download the sermon to your hard
drive to listen to later, you can use Windows Media Player
(PC) or iTunes (Macintosh) to listen to the sermon.
Q:
Can I listen to the sermons on my iPod or other MP3
player?
A: Yes. Use the same procedure for transferring sermons to
your iPod or other MP3 player that you use for putting
songs on the player.
Q:
How often will sermons be posted to the
website?
A: New sermons will be posted by Tuesday or Wednesday
evening at the latest.
Q:
How far back have sermons been archived?
A: The goal is to archive sermons back to 2004. The target
date for this goal is October 1st,
2007. Check the announcements page for updates in the
archiving process.
